In-Person Comprehensive*
Science, Math, and English Foundations
*Because of the short Prep season between the start of the school year and the Sept ACT test, we will NOT be offering a Sept Comprehensive Course. Be ready for the new October ACT test with In person Comprehensive ACT classes at Faulkner University, beginning September 15.
What About the Science Test?
Yes. Next year this year the Science portion of the ACT will be “optional.”
We are recommending that students register for and prep for the science portion of the new ACT test for these reasons:
Many colleges and universities are still uncertain about how they will use the ACT science score in awarding scholarships. Don't risk missing a scholarship that might be awarded to another student who went the extra mile and had a science test score.
Health-related and STEM related courses of study will require critical thinking and reasoning skills that we teach in science reading. Do research the scholarship and acceptance requirements of schools and courses of study for which you are interested.
Many of our students show the greatest score gains on the science test because our science specialists teach critical thinking and reasoning skills that help students master science reading. Those extra science points contribute to a higher ACT score. This science reading skill will be valuable in many areas of college coursework.
Students will not be as tired by the time they reach the new science test because all the test sections have been shortened.
If a student know they are not taking the Science Section of the test, they will still take the full Comprehensive Course that we offer. The Science section of our course will be held last at each of our sessions. Students who are not taking the Science portion will be engaged in other ACT review while those students who are taking Science receive that content.
